The exhibit includes:
- Full-scale figures, architectural models, decorative arts, dioramas, maps, drawings, documents, paintings, books—and George's dentures
- Interactive displays and videos

Visitors will learn about:
- Washington's childhood, youth, and early manhood
- His work as a surveyor and his stint in the French and Indian War
- Episcopalian and vestryman very involved in two churches
- Champion of political and religious freedom
- Commander in Chief of the Continental Army
- 50 years at Mount Vernon, where he introduced the mule, crop rotations, established fisheries, opened new global markets
- Martha Washington's wedding dress, jewelry, china, silver, glassware
- Life-sized model of the inauguration at Federal Hall in NY
- Public's fascination with his death
